With healers Jeremy Cobb and his wife Karen joining the church, we are now able to re-open the Healing Night on Monday evenings.

The church will be open from around 7:00pm and the service usually begins at 7:45pm
with prayer and relaxation visualisations followed by healing from one of the healers present.

Lisa Burns

Lisa Burns first came to the church for healing, when the Healing Night closed she went to another church to train as a Spiritual Healer and is now keen to become a healer at Chatham Street.

Lisa is a qualified masseuse and Reiki healer too.

Jeremy Cobb

Jeremy has been a spiritualist since mid 2000 and an individual member of the SNU.
Together with his wife, Karen, he has run a trance speaking circle for the last 8 years. He is
also a qualified SNU contact healing medium, completing his healing training with the Hook
Healing Trust in Manchester.

Jeremy is also a practicing trance healing medium - trained by Minister Steven Upton -
which he has been developing for over 5 years. He continues to improve his healing through
practice whenever he can.

During this time it has been Jeremy’s privilege to have trained with some of the very best
mediums the UK has to offer for various courses and subjects. With trance being a focus, but
not exclusive, strain of this work, Jeremy has completed trance healing (basic and advanced),
trance speaking, physical, mediumship, hypnotherapy, and more general courses.

Jeremy is also a sitter for his wife in her physical circle.

Jeremy is by profession a Hypnotherapist and runs his practice, www.wanttochange.me,
out of his home in Oldham. He uses Emotional Freedom Technique and inner repatterning as
well as being a fully qualified Hypnotherapist and Personal Coach.

Karen Cobb

Whilst not having a name for it, Karen has been a spiritualist all her life. She is now an
individual member of the SNU. She came to the church, initially for awareness, in Oldham in
mid 2000.

Since that time, Karen has been a dedicated physical medium, sitting solidly every week.
This continues to be the focus of her commitment to spirit, developing a strong connection
with them but allowing them the freedom to use this connection however is best.

Karen has attended a number of courses with some of the very best mediums in the UK with
a strong focus on trance and physical mediumship showing in those courses. They include
trance speaking and mediumship, trance healing, advanced physical trance mediumship, and
more general courses.

Karen is a trainee SNU healing medium about half way through her training at the moment.

Karen also sits for Jeremy’s trance circle and is instrumental in his development as far as it is,
using her skills as a graduate in Philosophy and, in particular, Logic to bring out the best
from both Jeremy and his spirit friends.
